How do I build a deck in Battle of the Crystal Kingdoms?
Deck building is a fun and strategic part of the game, giving you the freedom to customize your playstyle. Decks can range from 50 to 65 cards, but regulation decks are 65 cards: 30 creatures, 20 effect cards, and 15 crystal cards. Creature limits for regulation play are as follows:

What comes in a Starter Deck?
Each Battle of the Crystal Kingdoms Starter Deck includes everything you need to begin your journey: 20 creature cards, 10 effect cards, 10 crystal cards, 7 medallions, 2 synergy cards, and 1 ultra rare holographic special edition card, plus game dice for gameplay. While not a full regulation deck, it's designed to get you started and introduce you to the mechanics. Players are encouraged to expand and customize their decks with booster packs to meet regulation standards and match their playstyle.

What is a Synergy Card?
A Synergy Card is a powerful card that lets you fuse two specific creatures using a crystal card to create a 200 LP Synergy Creature. To activate a Synergy Card, you must sacrifice the required two creatures and one crystal card to the graveyard. There are only 7 Synergy Cards in the original set, and regulation decks may include only one Synergy Creature, making it a rare and strategic choice in competitive play.
